Incredibly convenient - inside the terminal. Ideal for EasyJet twilight bag drop for early morning flight - gives extra time for breakfast (continental from 4am, cooked from 6am). Rooms well appointed and clean.

Pleasant little town with a good range of restaurants and...
Pleasant little town with a good range of restaurants and pubs so we had a range of options for dinner. We were only there for an early morning flight from Gatwick so didn't spend time exploring - although it did look as though there would be good walks in the surrounding countryside. We ate at the Wetherspoons a that is an inexpensive option; the staff were very friendly and the ambience was good. Would certainly choose to stay in Horley again if we needed a night's accommodation before a morning flight from Gatwick.

Many people stay in the area because its so close to Gatwick airport. When you are there, make sure to check out Ye Olde Six Bells. Its a great restaurant that was built in the 1400's as part of a monastery.Melinda - 4.0Scored 4.0
The Wetherspoon pub was in the centre of town a 20 min walk...
The Wetherspoon pub was in the centre of town a 20 min walk from my accommodation which was at the middle distance between the town and the airport. People appeared friendly but as a transient resident I got ripped off by the locals. The tapas restaurant was open for customers but the cider was so sweet I could not drink it and I was told it was Spanish which I frankly doubt as I was not shown any label and the drink was pored for me without my getting to see it. I'll avoid the tapas bar the next time I need to visit the city prior to going on holiday or when I need to stay overnight on my return from holiday.

There was a great pub called 6 bells.
There was a great pub called 6 bells. The staff were lovely and Wayne the proprietor really looked after me as did all the staff. The food I had was excellent. The pub itself is unofficially the 2nd oldest pub in England. It was easy to walk to from The Corner House.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good choice of restaurants in the evening with lovely food. Breakfast could improve as while everything is well laid out with plenty of choice the food is not being kept hot enough and is quite cold by the time you take it back to your table which is a shame as it’s good quality food. From the moment we arrived we couldn't have asked for better service from the staff.When going to our room we were surprised firstly by its size and then its up to the minute decor . Facilities were great and being so close to the airport terminal we were impressed by the lack of noise. Overall cleanliness couldn't be faulted. All in all we couldn't fault the hotel and it made our trip so much easier. Thank you and well done.

I arrived at Gatwick at 1 am and called for the hotel shuttle and he was there within 5 minutes. My room was just fine and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. I only slept there for 5 hours but it was just what I needed. In the morning, I had a full English breakfast in the dining room and it was great. Everyone at the Corner House Hotel was super-friendly and really made me feel at home after my very long day of travel. Thank you to all of you!
