Inn For All Seasons, hotel in Redruth

Featuring a terrace, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Inn For All Seasons is set in Redruth, 26 km from Newquay Train Station and 26 km from St Michael's Mount.

I can't believe how great value Inn for all Seasons is. We travelled down for a wedding over May bank holiday and stayed for 4 nights, it was less than £100 a night, the bed was extremely comfortable and huge! Usually when you get to hotels you get flat pillows but it felt very homely with great quality duvet and pillows. The shower was a lovely walk in shower which was powerful. We had breakfast one morning which was ok, good value but I personally prefer exploring and having food out. Staff was friendly when we spoke with them but we didn't have any issues. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Well where do I start, I could have died of hypothermia if it wasn’t for 2 things, 1 it wasn’t cold enough, 2 Abi wouldn’t let that happen. Communication and directions to the hidden gem were spot on and it was exceedingly cosy and I want to live in it permanently, but that would not be at all practical for my work. But next time I’m in that part of the world I will stay again if it’s not booked by other people who have been there before or just got lucky.

Owl House, hotel in Redruth

Owl House offer's spacious 'Room Only' accommodation with off road parking and a shared kitchen if you require it.

I didn't see anyone else while I was there and honestly I like that. Finding the place was easy, getting in was easy and while the bathroom and lavatory room were separate and shared it was all very clean and comfortable. I was even able to get some cutlery from the downstairs kitchen. Very spacious room with a sofa and well heated but the wardrobes were locked. Excellent value for money.

The room was lacking of air conditioning and I had to open a big and wide window for air during the night. I was frightened in case of crawling insects or a fox can easily climb in as the room I stayed downstairs on the side of back garden with load of weeds and a trees that looks like a forest.

Unfortunately i cant rate the town of Redruth very high.this is due to how steep the main shopping street is. If you have mobility issues dont shop in Redruth. But once you manage to get to the top of the street there are buses that can take you on lovely journeys to places like Truro, Penzance and surrounding areas all for a fiver day ticket. Plus there is a train station if you fancy a train ride. If you have a car and want to save on fuel then use one of the many long term carparks for around Four pound for the day and use the buses

Stayed in St Day, which was the perfect location to explore wider Cornwall. I travelled out every day in all directions and the Road network was easy to navigate to get me around. There were plenty of options for having a great evening meal within a 5 mile radius of St Day. I enjoyed my stay here so much that I am planning on a return visit. Had a great nights sleep every night because it was lovely and quiet.

this hotel was outside the town of Redruth, in the country...

this hotel was outside the town of Redruth, in the country so not affected by Redruth itself and lots of nice places to visit nearby , Redruth itself is a sad and neglected little town, very few thriving businesses, lots of empty shops and too many charity shops. There seemed to be nowhere where food is served all day (we needed to eat late afternoon as we had to be at a venue by 6.30pm),one street (West End!) looked as if it was ripe for demolition. Lots of potential with its tin mining history, two very good pieces of artwork and also some interesting and historic buildings that could be renovated in to something rather special but left in a dreadful state of repair. A bit of levelling up and real investment could make it a very pleasant little town

On our arrival we were checked in by Eileen who made us feel extremely welcome and our Bull terrier too which we greatly appreciated as it can be difficult to find pet friendly accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble and we had access to all the grounds. The hotel pub is a one minute walk from the hotel very cosy and great food you would never leave there feeling hungry that's for sure. We felt very relaxed here and will be coming back in the near future I'm sure. Thank you so much Kindest regards Mr and Mrs Wright

Janet and David are exceptional hosts, they are so friendly and helpful, and really know how to take care of their guests. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with them. The room we stayed in was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and a nice size for two people. The breakfast caters to all tastes and breakfast room is located in a very bright room facing the garden. I would not hesitate to stay at the Cedars B and B on my next visit to Redruth.

Just come back from a week at Hillhead Farm at Easter. Owners were very welcoming. Weather was not great but the cottage was lovely. Everything we needed for family of 5 and the spaniel. Really easy access to mining trails, and plenty of off lead dog walking. Visited friends in Redruth, Hayle Beach, Porthtowan Beach Blue Bar (watched the storm), Holywell beach for dune surfing, Truro, cinema..... Perfect location even in a storm! We will be back. Thank you.

The hotel was lovely, fab shower/bathroom, room was good size with lots of little extras, nice selection of teas and coffee. The beds were so comfy we both had a great night's sleep. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Leisure facilities were a fab addition to our stay. We had afternoon tea which was delicious and breakfast was also lovely. So a fab stay altogether, sadly only for one night but we will back again soon hopefully.

Beautiful house and garden, hearty breakfast. Great location, within short driving distance from every point of interest in western Cornwall. The town itself, St.Day, is quite pretty. It was nice to have dinner and a short walk in the evening.
