It was only for one night and we wished we could have stayed longer. It was warm and spacious. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The fresh flowers was a lovely touch. It’s about 10 minutes drive from the gorgeous town of Clifden. This is such a beautiful part of Ireland.

Only a short drive from several counties including Galway, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary. Service on the phone isn't great and no wifi as stated but that didn't bother us. Just get out and enjoy yourself, plenty of places to go and things to do. We went everywhere. Lena is such a lovely host and very informative of things to do around the area and also some local history. Really lovely lady. Thanks for everything Lena especially the lovely eggs you gave us. The property was beautiful, clean and comfortable, everything we needed and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend a stay, about 1 hour easy drive from downtown Galway. And a pretty beach nearby.

Flaherty cottage was amazing, great location for exploring connemara, the perfect setting and dog friendly, only few minutes walk to white sandy beaches of mannin bay. The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, had lovely cosy stove for the November evenings.Great host who checked in regularly and gave great detailed recommendations. We will be definitely back again soon.
