This place really is special. Mike and Julia are incredibly warm and welcoming. We were really impressed by the accommodation and beautiful surroundings. It was also really clean and quiet. The breakfast was also wonderful. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning. And they have the most beautiful dog!

The room was spacious, fresh, clean and homely. Comfortable bed, and no sounds from other rooms or guests. It was better than a hotel room.

Ballycotton is a lovely little village.
Ballycotton is a lovely little village. The people are friendly and its fun visiting the different little pubs on the Main Street. The food at the Sea church restaurant was superb. The schooner tavern was the ideal accomodation for us with comfortable rooms with ensuite. It’s a remotely located, small seaside village with very few amenities so if you are looking for entertainment and nightlife, it’s probably not the place for you. But if you like coastal walks, tranquility, nature, peace and quiet- you will love Ballycotton!

Pity the restaurant in the hotel is closed during the week.. this could be said more explicitly while booking. But there are nice places to go to eat nearby, like Pier 26! Breakfast was gorgeous and very fresh! The B&B is very close to Ballymaloe House and there are a number of local taxis that we could use to get back from the wedding we attended. It is also very easy to get to Ballycotton and Midleton from this house. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to stay in this area stay in Sunville!

The pool area was beautiful with steam room, sauna and hot tub all in perfect working order! We had our 3 teenage children with us. I lost our room key and the owner provided another - when I asked to pay for it, he simply said "it happens". Could not have been nicer, offered good suggestions as well.
