Everything is exceptionally good, the staff is so friendly and helpful! The spa is simply amazing, and the food is as good as in the best restaurants. I am a picky eater but I always found something to eat so that’s a big plus for me. For someone who travels with a dog, it was important for us that the staff helped us find a dog sitter for the time that we were skiing, which made our vacation much easier.

First of all, the staff was one of the nicest we ever met. They have really put the time to advise on where to go, what to see, how do we rent bikes, etc. The room was beautiful with a lovely wood setting to it, very comfy balcony with a good amount of sun when the sun is out. The bathrooms were very comfy. It's only 2-3 minutes walk to the cable car and bike rentals, and maybe 5 minutes walk to the center. We didn't have a lot of expectations from the breakfast but it's one of the best we had in the area and the effort that was put into it was clearly visible. I highly recommend Al Viel.

We originally booked a double room but then our daughter decided she wanted to join us. The hotel were able to change our booking with no fuss at all. The owner was very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was warm, a good size and had a small balcony. There was a good continental -style breakfast. The hotel is close to one of the main ski lifts and a short drive to Canazei. A really good choice for anyone looking for comfortable, convenient and good value accommodation for a ski trip in the beautiful Val di Fassa.
